Here are more pictures of Brentford Lock, which is a small town outside of West London near Heathrow Airport. The town basically grew out of having waterway connections to the city of London through the various locks that connect the River Thames. Apparently, people own and/or rent these long boats that are basically like floating RVs and they can dock them for free at the various locks along the route. Also, I am pretty sure Brentford Lock is part of the Hounslow Borough of London in case anyone pulls out a map. In any case, it was a ways away from central London, but had a great park and some really quaint and beautiful neighborhoods. Also, only Sunday, we stumbled upon a gem of a historical house, the Boston Manor House, which was built in 1632 and has even hosted nobility on multiple occasions (yes, both the King and Queen of England at various times).
